The works of artist Narae Kim explore the connection between the mind and the body, often utilizing immersive technology to create spaces for reflection and healing. Her practice is rooted in the belief that technology can be a tool for collective resonance rather than isolation, inviting audiences to connect with themselves and with each other.
Narae has a multidisciplinary background in psychology, animation, and scenic design from CalArts (Los Angeles) and Ewha Womans University (Seoul). Narae is also an award-winning filmmaker whose short films have been featured in 20 international film festivals including Cannes, Cork, Montreal, and Busan.

Beyond her artistic practice, Narae Kim is an innovation leader working at the convergence of art, health, and technology. She speaks internationally on immersive storytelling, nervous system regulation, and the future of creative technology, and has served as an Innovation Awards Judge at CES since 2023. Her talks and workshops have been presented at the Busan International Film Festival VR Forum, ACM SIGGRAPH, AARP, UWE Women's Expo, Golden Futures USA.
As Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Flowly, she applies immersive creative methodologies to a clinically proven virtual clinic for managing pain and anxiety, bridging immersive art with therapeutic care.
